What a girl!!

Well, we started our trip to Az in the hot valley of the sun..we stayed with my mom and dad in their new home in Queen Creek. We stayed there for a few days and had alot of fun. We ate, the kids swam, and shopped..a little too much shopping actually! The kids lived in the pool in my parents back yard they bought for the occasion. It was a life saver in the 115 degrees we endured! We got to see alot of family, cousins and aunts and such. It was nice to catch up and see alot of people! Then we headed up north to see my brother Joey and my sister Pam. It was a nice relief to heat if it was a little cooler. Then we headed up to Heber from there. WE had a wonderful time, having all Troy's family there for a mini family reunion, with the exception of Elder Brett, who is in Idaho. We had a fun BBQ, water fight, the guys went golfing, bowling, and alot of hanging out. We headed back to the valley to finish off the trip, eating out as many places we could before we left...however leaving us SOOOOO sick of Mexican food! We pretty much ate it every meal..we loved it! But however we were kind of sick by the time we left! haha. We were happy to be heading home to get back to normal life, whatever that is, but sad to leave our loved ones...especially our 2 girls....They got to stay behind for 2 weeks. Our wonderful family is taking great care of them! It was nice to get back home, especially to the 50 degree drop in temperature from the time we left Phoeniz until we arrived home. Of course, however, the "high" temps have followed us home and now its in the 90's keeping us nice and toasty. WE had a wonderful trip, thanks everyone for the hospitality and great food and times we shared! I finished Eclipse(the 3rd book in the series) and now can finally do something now that we are home! Here are some pics of our trip..

Hunnies First Game

hunnies had his first game last night! Wow what a cutie! He is still in the coach pitch league but has a good coach this year! He is getting better all the time. He is on the H&R Block Team.

Hunnies got to play left field..and got a few balls out there! He is really good at hustling out there and being aggressive. He isnt the smallest boy on the team this year, and is pretty good!
What a good little batter this boy is! He hit all three innings, getting a single, double and one out at first base. He runs so fast the coach has to warn the boy in front of him to run really fast or he will catch up to him! Great job Bud!

KL First Baseball game

KL had his first baseball game last night. He is on the American Legion Team. What a cute boy he is!

KL got to play 2nd base last night. He is a good little ball player. He has alot to learn, but has the potential to be really good. He took turns with another boy each inning at 2nd. He was very aggressive and did a good job!
KL up to bat! Their team whipped all over the other team, with a score of 21-8. This was their first game, so they were all trying to get the hang of the game. He had a walk, a strikeout, got hit and got a free base, and had a pop up that the pitcher caught. We were proud of him and cant wait to see him progress..we hope the 2 week break in AZ doesnt mess him up too much!

8th Grade Graduation!!

So proud of our Graduate!!!

Last Friday night was Lee's 8th grade graduation. Wow where has the time gone?? We were so proud of her! She graduated with high honors. She is such a great student, all of her teachers are constantly praising her and telling us what a great girl she is. We already knew though! She is liked by all who know her. What a great example she is to everyone around her. She stands up for what is right and isnt afraid to tell her mom she loves her..in front of her friends!! yeah!

Lee getting her diploma. Yeah...great job! We didnt even notice it was 900 degrees in the gym!! And so many people we were touching knee to back and side to side..what a treat here!!

Congratulations Lee!!!! Now off to High School!!! Yikes...

Troy's hospital stay

Troy in his room at Barnes Jewish Hosptial. He was finally feeling better so I thought it was ok to break out the camera. He was finally actually watching TV again and sitting up. What a great step that was for him!

Another view of Troy sitting in his nice chair he came to know and love...haha..NOT! I slept in this chair the first night, wasnt too comfy. We spent many hours sitting here waiting and wondering whats going to happen. The last night there the nurses actually let me sleep in the other bed in the room. They were so nice. They warned me though that if someone needed that bed in the night, i would have to wake up and leave...but luckily I got to sleep all night...well, from after midnight until 5:30 am..if thats all night!

YEAH!!!! He was home!!! The thing the kids talked about most and fussed at the most was how Troy needed to shave! It was so funny. they didnt like their dad all fuzzy. So, first thing he did when he got home was take a nice shower and shave. Wow what a hottie hubby I have..even on his sickbed he is a gorgeous! So happy to have him home and able to sleep in his own bed and see his kids! So grateful for our blessings. WE love you Troy!!!

He's going home!

Well, we just talked to the DR and they said that Troy can go home today...YEAH!! 7 days in the hospital is enough! They are still unsure of what is wrong, and he has to follow up with the Infectious Disease DR in a week, and follow up with his normal DR to check his liver. They are not thrilled with his liver readings, and the Dr said this is still unresolved and isnt over. At least we can continue to figure this out at home, not here. So, we are waiting anxiously to get the discharge papers so we can head home. ITs not over, but at least its heading there. Thanks again everyone for everything you all have done for our family.
