"King Louis" poison ivy!

Well, this is actually out of order, but Sunday morning we woke up to finding KL in terrible shape..his face was all swollen and red rash all over! WE figured it was poison ivy...he had it in miscellaneous places on his body as well. We had a hard time relieving his itching and misery...everything stung him...we finally managed to get some relief from calamine lotion..so we took some pics.. I of course forgot to take more pics when the cream was off so we could see how bad he was.

This is when his swelling was down...his ears were all huge and his eye was all closed a little...poor guy! We hoped he would learn a lesson to stay out of the woods here, but no, the next day I had to go drag the kids out of the woods AGAIN! KL was still on the prednesone the dr gave him and was out again!!!! CRazy kids!

And we dont know when he is going to get those teeth in!! They have been out forever!!! what a silly boy he is.

Back to School!!

Well, the dreaded day came this Monday when our "Lee" started High School!! How can we be old enough to have a high schooler??? She was pretty nervous, but it all went well! What a great girl she is and is loving school already. She is almost to find her way to each class without getting lost! Its a huge school and taking some time! Unfortunately, we dont have early morning seminary here, so she is doing home study. We got up at 6:00 am this morning (Lee and mom) and had a little seminary program that we will do each morning. I am excited about this time we will have together and study and learn together. I love this girl!
So the other kids started school today, Friday! It was a long wait this week until their turns! Unfortunately again, it was POURING rain this morning, preventing any pics outside (where we love to take pics), so they are in the house without good lighting. Also, I couldnt take any pics of them going to school, as we were running in and out as fast as we could! king Louis is starting 4th grade, and is going to a new school. His teacher is Mrs. Brink. He says she is kind of mean and strict...so we hope this is a good year for him! Growing so tall and cant wait to get his "first chest hair" that he keeps talking about!! HEaven Help us!!
Hunnies is in 3rd grade, again going to the same school as last year. He is in Mrs. Petrie's class. She is really nice and hunnies is excited!! hunnies was up this morning, dressed, hair combed, teeth brushed and backpack on his back at 6:50 am...10 minutes before I went to wake him up!! What a cutie..so excited to start school. hunnies is so patient with us as he STILL isnt baptized!! But hope to do it in the next couple of weeks, as PApa and GRama are coming next week..so we will make sure and do it while we have some family here....
Here are all the kids this morning before we left home...what a cute bunch if I say so myself!

Well, sis doesnt get to start preschool until Sept 3....which has been VERY hard for her to understand why all the other kids are going and she cant!...but she got all prettied up this morning to take the kids, and wanted her pic taken as well...what an angel!
Poor KB as we will call her, is last on here....but KB is finishing off her Jr high years and is really excited for 8th grade! She made the cheer squad for this year and is excited for that! She is such a good student and such a beauty and doesnt even know. Thanks to Aunt Nicole for getting her and Lee all "grown up" with their cute hairdo's and highlights so they look so old! yikes...where did the little girls go???
Now the question is...What does mom do first? :)

Boys Room

Well, we finally finished our next project, the boys room. Here are some pics of their room. We did it in a sports theme and the boys love it. Unfortunately, we had to saw their bunkbeds into 2 beds, due to issues with the bed, and so now the room cant be organized very cute. The room is hard to put stuff in since there are so many windows, doors, closet, etc....so it doesnt look the best, but oh well...its done! yehaw!

Here are some pics of the boys bathroom, that is adjoining their bedroom. We actually had done most of this a while ago, but we finally finished it up and added the blue to tie it in with the bedroom. So cute and fun for them! Sorry the pics arent too good, but its hard to take pics of a small room!

Well, the biggest thing to hit our town happened this weekend. We have a huge balloon fest, and it rocks the town! Lots of balloonists come and they have races, lots of booths, food, games, etc...Last night we went to the balloon glow...where its dark and they light up the balloons...its sooo neat and so pretty. Afterward they have fireworks. It was a fun atmosphere and we had alot of fun with friends and sitting around visiting and hanging out. ITs times like this that we love our town! Here are some pics of some of the balloons...it was a great night! (sorry these pics uploaded backwards, so they arent in order...but you get the idea!)

Our new Puppies!

These little puppies are our two new additions to our family. We got a little boxer and a little bulldog a couple of weeks ago. The bulldog is the white one, and her name is Belle of the Ball, also known as Belle. The boxer is the brown one, and her name is Princess Ariel, also known as Ari. The kids have loved having them to play with alot! They are really sweet pups. Belle is the most loving playful dog we have ever seen. Such cuties!

Goobye Tyson

Well, today has been a sad day for our family. Our Mighty Tyson, or Ty our boxer died. We dont know what happened to him really, but he passed this evening. We have had our two male dogs together, Ty and Tucker, the bulldog, and they started fighting. So we split the pen and separated them. On Saturday, we got two new puppies...one a boxer and one a bulldog little females. Well, last night somehow the two bulldogs escaped the pen and got in with the boxers...and we found them this morning, along with a huge gash out of Ty's leg. Troy bandaged up the best he could, but he just wasnt doing too well with the pain, etc. He layed down and never was the same. Troy ended up having to put him down, which wasnt easy for him, neither physically or emotionally. He was definitely a fighter! The kids have all taken it pretty hard. They have cried alot and its been a somber evening. We have been trying to keep everyone focusing on "Doggy Heaven" to make them feel better. It has helped having the two new puppies to help out with the sadness. I would put some pics but this site wont let me upload pics...sorry.

So the million dollar question remains......Will the STP family ever have puppies????????

Latest Work..Girls New Bathroom

Before.....

After

Well, we have been really busy the last few weeks working on our latest project. We have finally finished the girls bathroom. Well, it still needs a cabinet and a few more decorations, but for now at least the major stuff is done. We have totally remodeled it, except the tub. We put shower board up, did the tile, put in a new vanity and sink, the toilet we did last year, and painted and put new lights in too. Wow, pretty much the whole room! It looks great and we are so excited as are the girls. Here are a couple of before and after shots..Also we have started working on the upstairs TV room, and it is in process, so we will post pics of it as soon as its done as well.
