Girls Weekend!!

Ok so this last weekend we got the priviledge of spending the weekend together as Porter sisters in law...and had a trip to Vail Colorado! Nic and Casey gave us all this as a Christmas gift...and so this is the first of the two trips..girls trip and boys trip later this summer. We had an absolute blast, and made memories that will last forever! These pictures are out of order, but here are just a couple of the hundreds that we took.

This picture is us waiting to go up to the top of the mountain in Vail on the last day. We got alot of attention everywhere we went! We told everyone, "We are sisters in law, married to her (Nicole) brothers! And we have 24 kids between us all!!" It was amazing!

This is from our first night in Denver, when we went to dinner. This is Nicole, me and Heidi, Brandon's wife. She is our newest sister in law..and so wonderful! Hope we didnt scare her away with our craziness!

We stayed in Denver the first night, then headed up to Vail on FRiday. Casey had suprise after suprise waiting for us every day. One of those was that we got to go White Water River Rafting!! This is us with our guide, Tim! Arent we lovely with our gear on! It was sooo much fun, we had an absolute blast. It was pretty scary for some of us at first, but we finally got the hang of it and loved it!

The last day, it was sad. We went up to the top of the mountain on the gondola...and here we did a little trampoline jumping!

We had plenty of photo shoots...we had such a fun time taking tons and tons of pictures. Look at this cute group of women!!

We did so much I could fill pages of our trip. Here are a few of the highlights that stick out...

got treated at the salon- hair, nails, pedicures; limo to dinner at the Melting Pot; many photo shoots, rafting, Treasure Boxes full of letters from family/friends, treated at the spa with a massage and use of the spa facilities for the day!!, shopping in Vail Village in the rain, jacuzzi in the rain:), Gondola ride to top of mountain, heaven!!, bungee trampoline, and being stuck up on top due to snow...shopping, and crazy freeway driver, well it was Casey!! haha...It was such an amazing time together...Thanks to Nic and Casey for such a generous wonderful time!!

Macee's haircut

So today I got a wild hair and decided to cut Macee's hair. It was soooo long and straggly. So I started cutting and ended up with this.....I definitely am not a beautician!!! But it turned out ok I think, at least until Aunt Nicole can fix it when we get to AZ!!! Troy isnt too sure about my decision...but I think she looks adorable, and now older!! what a girl!

Drivers License!

So Disnee FINALLY got her license!! yeah!!! I was sooo happy! It was a long few months waiting for her to have her 9 month period from the time she got her permit. It has been such a great relief to me already....she has been running the kids around and to the store as needed, and now she gets to drive her and Brooke to cheer practice! yay me!! Good job Disnee!! We are so proud of you!!

T ball

So Macee started t-ball for the summer. She is on Farmers State Bank team. Here she is at her first game getting ready to hit. She got up there and pounded it goodAll of the other girls had hit the tee about 15 times and couldnt get it off the tee. It was driving me crazy!! Macee got up and showed them what to do:)

She is a fast little runner too! Go sis Go!!

Their games are 45 minutes...and the first game we got through one inning. Our team went to bat, then theirs and it was time!!! You have to have alot of patience to sit through one of these games! Thank goodness we love our kids! The boys each had games too, but I didnt get any good pics due to circumstances...so when I get some I will post. Jalan has played 3 games, lost two and tied one. His team is really gonna struggle this year. He didnt get put on a very good team. Britton has had one game and they won 14-10.

Troy's present....

So Troy has been bugging about getting another motorcycle....and I finally gave in. Well actually, he didnt ask, and just got it. No but really, he got this bike a week ago or so...its a Yamaha something. He is in love. But not as much as Britton is! He was with Troy EVERY step of the way of getting this bike. He was so funny. Troy hasnt even got to enjoy it much, since the kids bug him every day to go take them out. Besides that it has been raining alot, and then he cant take it to work. So now Troy is biker dude again....everyone keep praying for him:)

Kindergarten Graduation

So Macee had her kindergarten Graduation on May 27. I have been so busy with kids out of school, that I am way behind on my blogging....so here is half of the kindergarteners getting started on their little program. These little kids are so dang cute at this age!!

Here is my sweet girl singing so beautiful about the "little hawaiian child"...are they adorable or what? Here she is with her principle, Mrs Jackson. She is getting her diploma!! Wow where did this year go???

Macee and her teacher, Mrs England. She is so sweet and Macee absolutely adored her...she made kindergarten so fun, Macee hated it when it was spring break, and especially when school was out for the summer:( She wants to go to school!!!

Varsity-Here they Come!

Ok, so I have to shout........Disnee and Brooke made Varsity Cheer this year!! We are so proud of them! They had try outs last night. Both worked very hard and were not certain they would make it. Brooke had the opportunity to make JV again if she didnt make varsity, but Disnee wouldnt be eligible, since she will be a Jr...holy cow! But.....they did awesome..and made it! They were so excited! I have been worrying like crazy all week about this. Its scary when 2 of your kids try out, and you hope the worst scenario doesnt happen, one make it and one not:( They are so cute and athletic. I am so excited for them, because it gives them the opportunity to be an example to their peers, and show everyone they can have good standards, and be good girls, AND be a cheerleader!! So...now the fun starts...more money and time from Troy and I!! At least Disnee will be driving next year, and make it easier on us! Congrats girls...We love you and are so proud of you!
