Happy Easter, Football, and 8th Grade Dance!!

This was the first Easter in several years, since we left AZ actually, that we got to have an outdoor Egg Hunt!! Usually its soo cold or too wet to go out....It was a little cool, but still ok! The kids had fun finding eggs in the yard! Jalan like usual, couldnt find very many, and was sort of bummed..haha...what a jalan

We signed Jalan and Britton up for flag football this year....boy were they excited!! The best part, their team is the ARIZONA CARDINALS!! yeah!! haha...Jalan has been playing on defense, and here he is trying to get that flag off that boy..what a face!! If you know Jalan, you can see his intense face of how hard he is trying! The boys did such a good job, this was their first game they got to play in! Go Jalan!!

He was excited to play offense, but he never got to touch the ball, except when he was center...he was kind of bummed but we kept telling him, this is your first game, you are new...its ok... Brooke's school had their big 8th grade dance this weekend...Well, actually its the High School welcoming all the incoming students for next year or something...anyway....here is Brooke with 2 of her friends that went with her... They all looked so pretty! Look out boys! Or should I say us!

Colorado

So when we got back from Vegas, we drove to Denver with the kids for Spring Break...wow it was a long trip!! We faced some bad weather, and in fact, we hit this area with fog and snow and you could only see a few feet in front of you..then we started seeing the accidents, trucks off the road, jack-knifed, and then we see the flames!! this car was part of a several car accident, and this one was on fire! wow we were afraid, but said a prayer and got to nic and casey's safe!! We had a good time, getting dental work done, hanging out, shopping and visiting. One day we went up to the mountain to play in the snow! Here is me with my new teeth..wow what a difference! I am so excited and loving them! Thanks nic!!

All the kids...they were so cute and tired at this point..Britton was on his pouting spell, so dont mind the frown!! He almost got left behind in his little tantrum, and Macee was bawling her head off worried so much!

We got to spend a day at the Denver zoo..it was beautiful! We had so much fun with Casey and her girls...

Vegas Trip!!

Here we are eating at Gallaghers steak house...the waiter wa ripping our lobster apart to serve us...he was so weird, but we had a blast anyway.

We went to see Cirque Du Soleil's "O", it was really cool. Here we are in the gift shop trying on the masks....it was fun!

Our good friend Melissa and her cute 3 girls at her baptism last month...with our awesome sister missionaries, Sister "O" and Sister Ryder..

This is the lastest on our kitchen remodel..its kind of been on the back burner....but still looks great!!

Wow it has been a long time since I've blogged....Well, life in the Troy Porter home has been pretty busy the last month. First, we had a friend come stay with us during a hard time, so we had her and her 3 girls staying with us, as well as having Brandon come and working on our kitchen. Then Troy and I came to Denver to get some more dental work...which was then followed by having Troys mom and sister Nicole and her 4 kids come to visit, as well as brandon returning from AZ well....so we had a housefull and alot of fun. Then Troy and I left to go to Vegas for a week for a work conference...I know, we have it so rough! I LOVE Troys job!! We met Nic and Casey there, and had a blast!!! We got home and were there for one day, when we turned around and left to Denver to visit Nic and Casey and family and get dental work for Spring BReak...yeah!!! So we are here in Denver now, and the kids are really enjoying spending time with their cousins and family. Troy and I got some dental work done yesterday, and tomorrow the kids are all going in for their cleanings and check ups...Sound like a fun spring break??!! At least its fun Uncle Nic doing the dental work! We are going to play up on the mountain today in the snow...I keep waiting for life to slow down, but am not sure when that will happen. Maybe next fall???
